udendørsovn/outdoor-oven

With the Outdoor-oven, Weltevree shifts the activity of cooking out-of-doors.The desire to prolong the outdoor-season and to be able to experience the enjoyment of food and outdoor-living throughout the entire year, makes Weltevree present outdoor cooking. The action and quality of outdoor cooking is presented by means of a cookbook that was especially made for the Outdoor-oven of Dick van Hoff.Because of his mentality towards cooking and his quality in cooking and product preferences, Weltevree collaborated on this project with Chef Jeroen van Werven (Restaurant Look, Arnhem). This cookbook is also a means to explore new ways to display the Weltevree collection in new environments like bookstores.

NewspaperWood

Dutch designer Mieke Meijer and design firm Vij5 created wood made from compressed newspaper

Every day, piles of newspapers are discarded and recycled into new paper. Mieke Meijer has come up with a solution to use this surplus of paper into a renewed material. When a NewspaperWood log is cut, the layers of paper appear like lines of a wood grain or the rings of a tree and therefore resembles the asethetic of real wood. The material can be cut, milled and sanded and generally treated like any other type of wood.

Earrings for Spontaneous Seeding

A seed here. A seed there. You never know when an opportunity for planting might present itself. Be prepared with these tiny glass bottles filled with vegetable and flower seeds. Great for secretively planting in friends' yards, medians, and those boring beds full of petunias outside your doctor's office. Includes refill seeds.

Conflict Chair

Made by Israeli designer Aviad Gil, the Conflict Chair is crafted from olive wood (just like the branch that universally symbolizes peace) and its design conveys a variety of messages – not the least being that for two sides to be able to sit down, there must always be a compromise.

"Konflikt Stol" er lavet af den Iraelske designer Aviad Gill. Og dens design kan afkodes på mange måder; ikke mindst som en kommentar til at to parter altid må finde sammen om et kompromis for at blive i stand til at sidde ned sammen.
